A blue bar appeared asking me to reconnect to the internet — what is it?

Accepted Answer

It means this Mac has been offline for several weeks, and the app needs a brief internet connection to re-check your licence. Nothing is wrong yet — the bar tells you how many days you have, and everything keeps working in the meantime. Just get online for a moment (or click "Reconnect now") and it takes care of itself. Your to-dos and notes stay exactly where they are either way.

A bar says my free trial is about to end — what happens when it does?

Accepted Answer

The bar appears in the last couple of days of your trial so the end isn't a surprise. You can dismiss it for the session (it returns next launch), and the "Buy a licence" link takes you straight to the purchase page. Your data is never touched — everything you've synced stays in your Supernote account and on this Mac. ---
