Why can't I rename or reorder a pushed to-do?

Once a to-do is pushed it's been "handed off", so this app treats it as read-only — view and delete only. Ticking it done here even notes that it doesn't change the copy in your task app. To make it editable again you reactivate it on the device (see the reactivation question above).
