How do I connect Things 3?

Things 3 is a Mac app, so there's no account, token or sign-in — add the Things 3 card in Settings → Task apps and click Connect. macOS asks once for permission to let this app control Things; allow it and you're connected. Things 3 must be installed on this Mac — if it isn't, you'll see an Install button that opens the Mac App Store. Everything happens locally between the two apps; nothing goes over the internet.
